Call for Proposals: 51st Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Advance Network (APAN), 1 - 5 Feb 2020

51st Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Advance Network (APAN)

Dear friends

APAN51 is approaching us quickly in early 2021. Given the circumstances it will again be a virtual event, which allows attendees from all over the world to participate and experience much of a normal APAN event. We are working on a wide range of excellent keynote speakers again, as well as experimenting with new technologies for social and sponsor engagement during the program.

At this point the program committee is calling for session and presentation proposals, as per the attached flyer.

The call is open now, and will close for session/workshop proposals by 11 December 2020.

This allows the committee to shape the program schedule, to allocate session times to fit demand, and to promote the event widely. This call is also for presentations and posters, on any topic relevant to the use of advanced networking to support research and education. The program committee will review those in partnership with our various working group chairs as appropriate.

The meeting website ( has links to the call-for-proposals forms (sessions and presentations) as well as the registration form.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the APAN Secretariat at

Hosted by our great friends at PERN in Pakistan for the very first time, we look forward to meeting many of you at APAN’51!
